Internship Title: Intern Designer/Production Artist

Description: The Cimarron Group, established in 1979 is one of the most respected creative agencies in Hollywood, supplying all areas of the entertainment industry and corporate America with innovative campaigns for theatrical presentation, print, broadcast and interactive media.
We have 2 internship positions available in the Creative Services Print Division. Student will work with our in-house designers and production artists for hands on experience in graphic design. Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark and InDesign proficiency are necessary for this position. Student should be enthusiastic, able to follow instructions, and be a quick learner.
This internship is paid, but also requires that you be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and able to receive academic credit.

web designers are hot commodities according to Phillip Carpenter with Redonk Marketing, which specializes in online marketing. “Because client budgets have shifted to more accountable online channels, print designers have not been a ongoing need,” Carpenter says, noting that his firm has found it difficult to find new hires recently. “Web and interactive designers are in high demand, and it’s been a challenge to fill open positions.”
